Dr Andrew Finch is a graduate of the University of Queensland, initially obtaining a bachelor of pharmacy before going on to study medicine. He worked as a pharmacist for around 10 years before transitioning into medicine.
He trained in a number of hospitals in South-east Queensland, including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital.
During his training, Andrew has obtained his fellowship in Rheumatology as well as Clinical Pharmacology. He also has postgraduate qualifications in pharmacy research (B.Pharm (Hons)) and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.
Andrew started working in private practice on the Gold Coast in early 2018 and has admitting privileges at the Gold Coast Private Hospital and Pindara Hospital. Andrew is interested in all areas of Rheumatology and has a special interest in managing patients with gout.
